Private Music Lessons

Thomas provides private music instruction in guitar (classical, jazz, pop & rock, singer-songwriter styles), ukulele, bass guitar, piano (up to piano level 3), musicianship, and music theory & composition.

New Students and Lesson Packages

Thomas provides a free 30 minute online consultation for new students. In this session, we will assess the student’s experience and aspirations in music and develop an outline for moving forward with the lessons. Email Thomas at thomas@silvanimusic.com to set up a consultation. After the consultation, the new student can purchase a single follow-up lesson, or a set of 3, 6, or 9 lessons. Continuing students may only purchase lesson sets (of 3, 6, or 9, or more). Students most often book either weekly or bi-weekly lessons.

Performance Opportunities

Approximately once per season, a performance opportunity is arranged (in person and/or online). These events are community celebrations where students can exercise their music performance muscles alongside musical veterans.

Cancellations & Rescheduling Lessons

If Thomas needs to cancel, a refund for that lesson will be given OR a makeup lesson will be arranged.

If the student cancels within 24 hours or is a “no show” to the lesson, no refund or make up lesson is given.

If more than 24 hours notice is provided for a lesson cancellation, make up lessons are offered for up to 3 times per season. Make up lessons are usually offered online only.

$55 per 45 mins
$70 per 60 mins
